Designer Vaginoplasty
Designer Vaginoplasty is the aesthetic surgical enhancement of the vulvar structures, labia minora, labia majora, mons pubis, perineum, introitus, hymen, (see diagram). Designer Vaginoplasty has provided creative treatment solutions for most patients. Dr. Schlosser, Board Certified Lifetime Fellow of ACOG, has been trained by Dr. Marco Pelosi, founder of the ISCG and pioneer in developing these gyn plastic techniques. The creative expertise to aesthetically design these procedures is known by few Gyn doctors and even fewer plastic surgeons who are not experienced or trained in pelvic surgery. The goal for many patients is to emulate the models in Playboy or similar magazines. This is what our patients described when asked “What is an aesthetially pleasing vulva?”
Although our experience and techniques provide us the ability to design most anything that one can desire, our most common Designer Vaginoplasty procedures are as follows:
Reduction Labioplasty can sculpture the elongated or unequal labia minora (small inner lips) according to one's specification. Most women tell us that they do not want the small inner lips to project beyond the large outer lips. Many women bring us Playboy and say that they want to look like this. With reduction labioplasty, we can accomplish the goal of the patient. Our labioplasty techniques can also reconstruct conditions that are due to the aging process, childbirth trauma, or injury.
Laser Perineoplasty can rejuvenate the relaxed or aging perineum after childbirth or aging. It can also enhance the sagging labia majora (large outer lips) and labia minora. Overall, the procedure can provide a youthful and aesthetically appealing vulva while strengthening the muscles of the perineum known as the “pelvic springboard.”
Augmentation Labioplasty can provide aesthetically enhanced and youthful labia majora by autologous fat transplant (removal of the patients fat via liposculpturing and transplanting it into the labia majora).
Reduction Vulvar Lipoplasty can remove unwanted fat of the mons pubis and upper parts of the labia majora. Liposculpturing can alleviate the unsightly fatty bulges of this area and produce an aesthetically pleasing contour.
